Why give?

While we acknowledge that we can never out-give God, we know that our giving is foundational to His mission in our neighborhoods, our community, and our world. Lives are touched and souls are saved through the ministries and missions of First Methodist, funded by the generosity of the faithful. Giving expands the heart of the giver and brings us closer to God.

We believe that Biblical tithing is God’s plan. Just as we all grow in spiritual maturity, we also grow in our giving. God is gracious and God is generous. Let us be faithful and generous in return.
